In the picturesque and historic village of Kakodiki in Kandanos, Chania, there stands an extraordinary ancient olive tree.
The photograph was taken during a visit to the cultural collections in 2009. The collaborative goal of the participating associations was to document and safeguard the ancient olive trees of Crete.
