Stylos and Its Enchanting Springs
ABOUT
Majestic plane trees warmly welcome all visitors!
Beneath their cooling shade in the village centre, one can leisurely enjoy coffee or a delightful meal.
Situated to the north of the Provarma settlement, Stylos consists of two distinct sections, traversed by the provincial road on the eastern side of the larger section.
The crystalline waters from the springs of Stylos converge to form the Kiliaris River, gracefully making its way to the Kyani Akti Beach.
Archaeological excavations have uncovered various treasures, including remnants of an ancient pottery workshop.
In the village, you'll find two Byzantine churches that are significant historical landmarks: the church of Panagia Zerviotissa and the two-aisled Church of Saints Ioannis Theologos and Nikolaos, alongside several other later churches.
