The Roads of Life hiking group is heading to the fairytale forest of Roupakias on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

In their invitation, they state:
“Whether you are (feel like) a big child or have a little one, everyone will enjoy our next hike in Apokoronas, both experienced hikers and beginners.

In a fairytale forest with carob trees, oaks and cypresses, rich green nature, winding paths, gentle elevation changes, and beautiful views, no one will be left unsatisfied.

Xirosterni, Sellia, Souri, Kefalas are some of the picturesque villages of Chania that we will visit. The icing on the cake is the unique Stone Museum!

Departure from the Saturday Open Market area (Agia Anna) at 08:00, on Sunday 08/02/2026.

Our excursions take place in a non-urban environment, and appropriate equipment is required, suitable for the terrain and the season.
