Registrations are now open for GYROS PERIVOLION 2026, a dynamic event for athletes, runners, and all nature lovers, aiming to promote athletic spirit and showcase the natural beauty of the region.

The event takes place on March 15, 2026, and is now in its 5th edition. It is co-organised by the Athletic Association “Ethniki Physiki Agogi Perivolion – Theseus”, the Municipality of Chania, and the Region of Crete – Regional Unit of Chania, in collaboration with the Local Community of Perivolia, the Parents and Guardians Association of the Perivolia Primary and Nursery Schools, the Cultural and Charitable Association “Garipas”, the Cultural Association “Poliplano”, and the Kissamos Health Runners Team, with support from the Chania Health Runners Club.

This year’s programme includes running and power walking races at 10 km, 5 km, and 1 km, offering everyone the chance to explore the neighbourhoods and natural surroundings of Perivolia at their own pace.
