Once all the safety checks are completed, you and the pilot will need to take a short run of about 5 to 15 metres until you lift off and begin your flight.

While flying, you can chat with the pilot. The instructor will likely share some insights about the landscape you're gliding over. As you approach the landing, you’ll need to step down softly and take a few steps forward as you touch the ground.

This is a sport that heavily depends on weather and wind conditions. Depending on the altitude difference between takeoff and landing, a typical discovery tandem flight lasts around 20 minutes. The total duration of the activity – including transportation – may vary.
