ABOUT
The route starts from the village of Kampoi Keramion, from where we ascend towards the historic Volikas Refuge, the oldest mountain shelter in Crete.
The route offers the perfect balance between technical climbing sections and smooth, open slopes, making it an exciting choice for ski touring enthusiasts.
From the Volikas Refuge, the ascent continues towards Spathi Peak, revealing breathtaking views throughout the journey.
The descent from Spathi Peak is a thrilling ride through a variety of terrains – from smooth, open slopes to steeper sections that challenge our skiing skills.
Depending on the snow conditions, we may enjoy skiing on fresh, untouched powder or move across compact, wind-sculpted surfaces.
The return to the Volikas Refuge and then back to the village completes in the best possible way this unique ski touring experience.
