Charakas Health Centre

Charakas Health Centre, situated in the village of Charakas within the municipality of Archanes, Asterousia in the Heraklion prefecture, operates under the supervision of the 7^th Health Region of Crete.

Charakas Health Centre commenced its operations on 10^th May 1989, encompassing the following regional clinics: Pyrgos RC, Mesochori RC, Tefeli RC, Metaxochori RC, and Asimi RC.

According to the 2011 population census, the Charakas Health Centre serves a population of 10,357 people.
