The Sitia Trade Association invites you to a four-day celebration at the height of Carnival, kicking things off with the much-loved White Carnival Night. A true institution for the town, this special evening promises — as always — an unforgettable experience for the people of Sitia and for visitors who happen to be in the city.

On Friday, 20 February 2026, the shops will stay open until late at night, offering major discounts and special deals on their products. Shopkeepers will be handing out treats to passers-by, DJs will fill the streets with music, and there will be dancing at every crossroads.

For our young friends: magicians, jugglers and stilt walkers will be out and about, keeping children happily entertained.

The evening will be presented by Areti Zachariadou.

Please note that from 18:00 to 22:00, there will be a temporary road closure for vehicles in the town centre.

Specifically, the following streets will be closed to traffic:

• Vitsentzos Kornaros Street, from the corner of Tsantiraki to the shop Optika Arrathymos

• Eleftheriou Venizelou Street

• Dimokritou Street

Vehicle circulation will take place via alternative routes.
