A new collage exhibition, curated by Maria Petrakogiorgi, is being hosted at the multipurpose space of the Heraklion Municipal Art Gallery, in collaboration with the Region of Crete, from Monday 19 to Friday 30 May 2025.

Titled "Entirely Made of Paper", this marks the first solo exhibition by Pelagia Androulaki. Starting from her hometown, she presents eighty-eight artworks, crafted exclusively from recycled magazine paper. With her natural talent refined into a unique expressive method, the artist sets her own rules in composition, colour harmony, and texture, creating images that convey emotion, send messages, and reflect a personal visual language.

Her works are inspired by personal themes as well as by figures and subjects from the sociopolitical world of literature and the arts. Through every piece, the interplay of colours and textures, along with a sense of childlike enthusiasm, results in powerful, thought-provoking visuals. These works highlight Androulaki’s sensitivity, experience, and artistic maturity.
