ABOUT
For a more peaceful experience, it is recommended to visit Seitan Limani in the early morning or late afternoon when the beach is less crowded. To reach this hidden gem, head towards Chania Airport and proceed to Chordaki village. From there, take a right turn before the road ascends to the top of Mt Skloka. Another right turn will lead you to the chapel of Agios Raphael. The road beyond this point is relatively accessible, with an asphalt surface. There is a sizeable parking area, but if you notice a significant number of cars ahead of you, it's advisable to find a parking spot a little before you get there and continue on foot down the steep downhill path.
Prepare yourself for a 20-minute descent along a path!
It's best to travel light and avoid carrying excessive belongings, as it can hinder your mobility on the path.

Vlites Beach is nestled in the cove of the expansive Souda Bay, granting it calm and peaceful shallow waters most of the time. This long sandy beach is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a tranquil and secluded ambiance despite its proximity to Chania city and Souda port. With picturesque views of Souda Bay, the beach is situated between the river Moroni's mouth and the Allied War Cemetery, where fallen allied soldiers from the Battle of Crete lie buried.
The wider area is not popular with tourists, so the beach is typically not crowded, providing a peaceful and serene environment for visitors to enjoy.
