ABOUT

The beach of Palaiokastro, located in the homonymous settlement of the Municipality of Malevizi, is adorned with white pebbles.

The beach benefits from its geographical location, offering protection from the northern winds. It is a well-equipped beach with amenities such as sunbeds, parasols, and showers. Visitors can savour fresh fish at the nearby tavernas, and parking facilities are also available for vehicles.

To the right of the beach, a towering rock hosts the Venetian castle of the area, alongside a distinctive narrow cave. Historical reports suggest that the cave served as an escape route from the castle in the past.
