ABOUT

Kolimbari Beach is situated in the eponymous area, known for its development within the municipality. It is not known for its calmness, as it often experiences the effects of strong north winds, leading to waves. The beach features fine pebbles and grey sand, with excellent facilities. Being a breeding ground for the Caretta caretta turtle, like the entire surrounding region, you may come across sections of the beach enclosed with special cages to protect the nests.
