Peza Climbing Field

ABOUT

The Peza climbing field is located 12 km east of Agios Nikolaos, at an altitude of 300 metres. It consists of four main rock faces, three of which — Minos, Talos, and Istronas — are oriented in such a way that you can climb here year-round and throughout the day.

Route lengths range from 14 to 30 metres, so a 60–70m rope and 16 quickdraws are recommended.

The rock is compact limestone of excellent quality.
All routes are sport climbing routes, equipped with inox bolts and anchors.

On the Talos rock, there is a cave with challenging routes graded 8a and 8b+.

What makes this site truly unique is the panoramic view over Mirabello Bay, the stunning natural surroundings, and the fact that climbers can find shade on the rock faces throughout the day, making it ideal for full-day sessions.
