The Mountaineering Club of Lasithi (E.O.S. Lasithiou), in collaboration with the Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing, the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos and the Region of Crete, announces — as part of the Hellenic Federation's climbing competition programme — the:
3rd Rock Climbing Cup
1st Round – Held at the climbing field of Peza, Kalo Chorio, Lasithi
1. ELIGIBILITY
Important note! Athletes may participate only if their club has official athletic recognition, is registered with the National Sports Registry (G.G.A.), and is up to date with its submissions on the e-Kouros platform.
Athletes from clubs that are in the process of being registered with the G.G.A. and obtaining athletic recognition for the sport may also compete, as long as their club meets all related obligations — including having a certified coach.
Registrations must be completed online by June 17, 2025, at:

Clubs must log in to the platform, go to the 3rd Rock Climbing Cup registration page, click "Edit" (top left), and fill in athlete names and competition categories.
Note: Before you can register your athletes, the following steps must be completed:

(F) Payment of any pending athlete renewals
2. LIVE EVENT UPDATES
Athletes wishing to receive live updates during the competition must enter their email in the corresponding field on the athlete profile update page.
3. CATEGORIES
Men: 18–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79
Women: 18–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79
4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Personal equipment: Rope, harness, belay device (e.g. GriGri), helmet. All gear must be UIAA certified.

5. EVENT SCHEDULE
Secretariat opens:
Saturday, June 21st – 08:00 a.m. at Peza Climbing Field
Competition starts:
09:00 a.m. at Peza Climbing Field
Competition ends:
05:00 p.m.
Awards Ceremony:
Top 3 men and women in each category (provided there are at least 3 participants per category)
Location: Agios Panteleimonas, Kalo Chorio
Time: 7:30 p.m.


6. GENERAL INFO
At the campground venue, where the awards will take place, there will be a dinner with live music for all athletes.
