Church of Afentis Christos in Ierapetra
ABOUT
The oldest church in Ierapetra is the Church of Afentis Christos.
According to the Municipality of Ierapetra, the church is two-aisled, with aisles of unequal width and a modern narthex on the west side. In recent times, two domes have been added to the western part of the aisles. The numerous interventions and alterations have obscured the original features of the church.
