In 1981, the small chapel of Agii Anargyri Kosmas and Damianos was built in the Perivolia area of Rethymno.
The church celebrates its feast day every year on July 1st.
“Agii Anargyri” is a title given to certain Christian saints who refused to accept payment for their good deeds. They were usually Christian doctors offering their services free of charge.
