Latsida: Home to the Renowned Souvlaki Delights

Among friends, it's a common suggestion to head over to Latsida and indulge in some delectable souvlaki that will make your mouth water.

Situated at the north-western edge of the Mirabello valley, Latsida is perched at an elevation of 250 metres. It is conveniently located just two kilometres away from Neapoli. The village's economy thrives primarily on agricultural production, serving as a significant pillar for its local economy.

The earliest recorded reference to the village dates back to 1369, during the period of Venetian occupation.

In the vicinity of the village, amidst a stunning landscape, stands the Church of Panagia Keragoniotissa, which dates back to the 14th century. This remarkable church is dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary and features captivating frescoes that are of great interest.
