The much-anticipated international photography exhibition “The Art of Social Media 2025”, now in its 6th edition, blends art with the power of social media and is hosted in Heraklion with the support of the Region of Crete. It offers a unique experience of inspiration, creativity, and participation for the public.

The exhibition, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and organized by The Art, will be hosted at the Bookstore of the Vikelaia Municipal Library (Achtarika Building) in the heart of Heraklion.

The Art of Social Media has now become an institution, featuring the top 100 photos from the International Competition across 10 categories. Submissions come from all over the world, creating a multicultural mosaic of artistic expression drawn from the everyday world of social media.

Visitors can vote for their favourite photo by scanning special QR codes displayed beneath each frame, helping determine the Audience Award 2025.

This year’s exhibition is also held under the auspices of the Hellenic Photographic Society (EFE) and supported by ERT Heraklion as its media sponsor for the fourth consecutive year.
