🍁 The Organisation for Natural Environment and Climate Change (OFYPEKA) announced that on Friday, October 31, 2025, the visiting season at Samaria Gorge officially came to a close. During the summer season of 2025, the Gorge remained open to the public for a total of 151 days, welcoming 119,138 visitors.

👉 In the coming weeks, and ahead of the 2026 management period, OFYPEKA, in collaboration with the relevant authorities, will carry out maintenance and repair work on the visitor infrastructure within the Gorge.

🎯 At the same time, interventions will be made to ensure the safe passage of visitors, along with all other necessary preparations for the timely and smooth reopening of the Park for the new season—weather and natural conditions permitting.
