The Vikelaia Municipal Library of Heraklion will operate under a new extended schedule starting Wednesday, 1 April 2026.

According to the official announcement by the Library, and with the aim of offering better service to both readers and the research community, the updated opening hours — applicable to all departments, including the Archives Department — are as follows:

• Monday and Wednesday: 10:00 – 18:00
• Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
