EOS Heraklion is heading out on another mountain adventure on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Here’s what the team says: 
“We start our hike from Kato Symi, just before the sanctuary of Hermes and Aphrodite, which we may visit depending on conditions. From there (1,040m), we gently climb up to the Lapatho plateau (1,300m), where we’ll pass by the old church of Agii Apostoli (1,260m), before descending all the way to Mythi village (200m), with a stop at Karydi (740m) along the way.

A large part of the route winds through a forest of pines and kermes oaks. The terrain is mostly off-trail but on even ground, mixed with dirt roads and the occasional stone-built path.”
