Adventure & Action

On Sunday, August 3rd, EOS Agios Nikolaos is heading east to one of the greenest corners of the island—the lush Richtis Gorge near Exo Mouliana in Sitia.
The hike begins at the designated parking area, just below the historic stone-arched Lachanas bridge (entry fee: €5). From there, the trail winds through a fairytale setting of dense vegetation, old watermills and a hidden waterfall. After reaching the beach at the end of the gorge, there’s a chance for a refreshing swim—weather permitting—before the group returns to the starting point.
