In this exhibition, Anna Saloustros explores the personal and collective journeys of women across time and social space, with the door as a central symbol. Her work blends watercolour paintings with a site-specific installation using old wooden doors from the Child Protection Branch of Heraklion.

The artist traces the path of female existence through time—from silence to voice, from confinement to creative emergence. Surfaces, marks, and colours whisper memory and open towards light. The exhibition attempts to express not just the historical but also the inner dimension of these “passages”, where the personal meets the collective, and trauma transforms into art.
