As part of its "Summer 2025 in Myrtia" programme, the Nikos Kazantzakis Museum is hosting a unique open-air concert on Thursday, 31 July 2025, at 21:00. The acclaimed composer and multi-instrumentalist Ross Daly will take the stage in the museum’s courtyard, joined by an ensemble of exceptional musicians from the Labyrinth Musical Workshop, in a performance titled Echoes of the Invisible.
The concert features selected compositions from Daly’s vast and timeless discography. Performed by a contemporary orchestra that blends traditional and modern instruments, the music brings new depth to his signature sound. This special line-up opens up new orchestral possibilities and reimagines the artist’s work with a fresh creative spirit.
This is the first collaboration between two cultural pillars of the Municipality of Archanes-Asterousia—the Nikos Kazantzakis Museum and the Labyrinth Musical Workshop. A symbolic meeting of two world travellers: Nikos Kazantzakis with his pen, and Ross Daly with his bow. Their shared vision reminds us that art knows no borders. It brings people, cultures, and worlds together.
As part of this partnership, the museum’s travelling exhibition Nikos Kazantzakis: His Life and Work, curated by Dimitris Kalokyris, will also be presented at the Houdetsi Music Festival from 23 to 25 July.
