Every year, mountaineers from all the Mountaineering Clubs of Crete come together to hike and get to know each other better. This year, the meeting is organized by the Lasithi Mountaineering Club and will be hosted at the Strovili Refuge (1,358 m) above the Limnakaro Plateauon Mt Dikti. The event includes camping in tents, food, festivities, and ascents to nearby peaks.

• 08:00 Start of the easy hike: Strovili Peak (1,550 m) – 1 hr – Difficulty Level 1
• 15:00–16:00 Farewell – Closing of the 43rd P.O.S.

Organization Notes

• Please bring your own food and drink utensils, as there will be no single-use plastics.
• Access to the Limnakaro Plateau is easy for all vehicles or small buses. Participants will walk up to the refuge via a 1.5 km trail or dirt road, while gear will be transported by farm vehicles.
• The camping area is on terraced ground around the refuge. There are 4 toilets plus one accessible for people with disabilities.
• Participants must pack their belongings before starting the hike.
