On Wednesday 13 August 2025, the Mountaineering Club of Agios Nikolaos is organising – as it does every year – an afternoon hike to the Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni for friends and members of the club.

The hike is relatively easy (but with both uphill and downhill sections) and starts from Kalo Chorio. From there, following dirt roads and paths, we will climb towards the monastery.

Attention: For the return journey, participants must arrange their own transport from the monastery back to the starting point. Proper shoes, walking poles, a windbreaker and a torch are also required.

Departure: From Kalo Chorio (Voulisma area, where the tavernas end, above Voulisma beach) at 17:30.
