Located in the charming seaside village of Sougia, the beach lies at the exit of Agia Irini Gorge. Stretching for approximately one and a half kilometres, it features pebbles and crystal-clear waters. The beach begins at Sougia's small port, extending from the exit of Skevoto Gorge to a secluded bay that is favoured by nudists.

During the summer, Sougia is well-connected by ferry to various destinations, including Chora Sfakion, Paleochora, Agia Roumeli, Loutro, and Gavdos.
