General Theophilus's heroic efforts in defeating the Arabs led to the naming of the beautiful beach of the Municipality of Viannos Sidonia or Psari Forada (Grey Mare), in honour of his courageous horse.

The beach boasts unique dark grey sand, complemented by blue waters, and scattered with rocky formations in many areas.
