For those seeking lively and bustling beaches, Hersonissos is the place to go.

The first beach is long but narrow and attracts a large number of visitors. It boasts sandy shores and crystal-clear waters.

Moving further east, you'll come across several bays that are conveniently located in front of hotels. A bit further down the coast, you'll find the expansive and popular sandy beach of Star Beach Water Park.

In fact, the beach of Stalis is an extension of the beaches of Hersonissos and is seamlessly connected to the beach of Malia.

The beach of Stalis is divided into two sections. The first section begins from the western side and extends up to the Anthousa hotel, while the second section starts from Anthousa towards the east in the direction of Malia. The beach gradually deepens, making it ideal for young children and families. With its sandy shores stretching for about 3 kilometres, it provides ample space for relaxation and enjoyment. However, it is worth noting that due to its northern orientation, the beach of Stalis typically experiences waves.

Sarandaris is a public beach located in the celebrated Limanakia of Hersonissos.

Stretching westward from Cape Sarandaris to Limenas Hersonissos, a captivating series of small bays unfolds. These picturesque bays are adorned with white sandy shores, scattered pebbles, and alluring turquoise waters.

The main beach of Sarandaris is an ideal spot for families with children. Its shallow waters and fine sand create a safe and enjoyable environment both on the beach and in the sea. The presence of a cape provides natural protection, ensuring the beach remains sheltered from strong winds.

Potamos Beach is accompanied by a small torrent that forms the expansive wetland of Malia. This beach is situated next to the main beach of Malia and is in close proximity to the archaeological site of Malia, which houses the Minoan Palace.

This approximately 700-metre-long beach offers sandy shores and crystal-clear waters, adorned with rock formations along its edges. It is well-equipped with parasols and sunbeds, yet still provides ample free space for visitors.

In the surrounding area, you can find hotels within small bays, and during the autumn months, the white lilies of the sand bloom, adding a beautiful touch to the scenery.

In 2018, Potamos Beach received a total score of 7.879 points out of 10 from beachgoers, making it one of the top nine certified public beaches according to the Costa Nostrum Sustainable Beaches standard.

Malia Beach, located on the eastern side of the expansive 6-kilometre-long beach starting from Stalis, is the perfect spot for those seeking a lively swimming experience. This long and wide beach boasts fine sand and shallow waters, making it ideal for enjoying the water with fellow beachgoers. As you move eastward from Klotzani Beach, Malia Beach awaits as the next exciting stretch of sandy shoreline to explore.

It is a vibrant beach, complete with the all the usual beach amenities and facilities, catering to all visitors' needs.

The beaches of Kokkini Hani are popular among families with young children, as they offer a safe environment for little swimmers to take their first dives. However, it's advisable to avoid the area during strong winds, as the waves and sea currents can be quite strong during such conditions.

The Kokkini Hani coastline comprises numerous large and small beaches with sandy shores and shallow, clear blue waters.

It is an ideal destination, complemented by the magnificent view of the island of Dia, situated just opposite.
