Located approximately 7 kilometres west of Chora Sfakion (Sfakia) and in close proximity to Loutro, lies the picturesque beach of Lykos. Situated along the E4 path that connects Agia Roumeli with Loutro, this beach offers a tranquil escape for visitors. Access to Lykos can be achieved either by taking a boat from Chora Sfakion or by embarking on a pleasant 1.5-kilometre walk through a path adorned with olive trees from Loutro. Alternatively, a suitable vehicle can navigate through a dirt road originating from Aradena to reach the beach.
The beach is covered in pebbles, and its waters are deep, making it perfect for underwater exploration and snorkelling. Towards the western side of the beach, you'll find several remarkable caves along the rocky cliffs. Lykos Beach is an excellent choice for quiet getaways, with a few charming tavernas and rental rooms available.
