Situated to the west of the Agios Nikolaos Church and the harbour of Georgioupolis, Kalivaki Beach boasts sandy shores and convenient amenities. 

It serves as an appealing choice when winds are strong. Its more sheltered nature lends it a family-friendly character. The beach is shallow and often less crowded, making it suitable for relaxed swims throughout most days of the week. Moreover, it offers the advantage of being within walking distance from the city of Rethymno.
