ABOUT
It’s time to explore the Samaria Gorge — the most stunning gorge in Greece and the longest in Europe.
The program includes:
• Pick-up from your accommodation between 07:00 – 08:00 a.m. with one of our comfortable vehicles (car, minivan or minibus).
• Arrival at the gorge entrance (Xyloskalo) between 08:00 – 09:00 a.m.
• Entry into the gorge and start of the hike.
Note: If you'd like to be accompanied by a mountain guide, it’s possible — though not necessary, as the path is very well marked.
• Total hiking duration: approximately 5–7 hours.
• Exit from the gorge: A refreshing swim in the sea at Agia Roumeli, an optional meal at a local taverna, and then a ferry to Paleochora or Sfakia (depending on where you’re staying).
• At the port, our vehicle will be waiting to take you safely back to your accommodation.
