Loutra Beach
ABOUT
Just a short walk from the village of Lentas, Loutra Beach is the perfect spot if you're after a bit of peace and quiet.
Local legend has it that Queen Pasiphae, wife of King Minos, used to bathe here. Whether true or not, the place still carries something of a mythical charm.
The nearby fishing shelter is where the area's fishermen dock, and you’ll also find a handful of tavernas and guesthouses close by, ideal for staying a little longer.
The beach is not organised, and in the past it was popular among nudists — though these days, it doesn’t offer quite the same sense of seclusion.
