In the village, you’ll find the preserved catholicon of the small Monastery of Archangel Michael (formerly part of Areti, featuring an inscription dated 1604 with the name of the founding monk Nikodimos Hassanis), as well as the old church of Saint John the Stranger (which belonged to the Kardamoutsa Monastery).
