Chordaki: A Village of Few, but Proud, Inhabitants

Cities & Villages

ABOUT

Chordaki is a small, picturesque village in the municipality of Amari, nestled on the eastern foothills of Mount Kedros. It lies along the Gerakari – Agios Ioannis provincial road, perched in a spot that offers uninterrupted views of the Amari Valley and the slopes of Psiloritis

This tiny settlement, inhabited since at least the Venetian era, survives today with just a handful of permanent residents.

Within the village, you'll find the church of Agia Anna, while in the wider area stands the frescoed church of Zoodochos Pigi (Panagia Faneromeni).
