ABOUT
It is a mountain ridge located in the region of Lassithi, in eastern Crete, offering scenic views over the village of Vrachasi and the Mirabello valley.
Excavations are currently underway in the area due to indications suggesting the existence of settlements dating back to the Early Minoan and Middle Minoan periods. Discoveries include cisterns, walls, tombs, and a sanctuary. This city is attributed to the so-called Dark Period (1200-800 BC).
