Agios Pavlos, Chania: A Secluded Beach with Loyal Friends

Agios Pavlos is a stunning beach located in Piso Aegiali, 3 kilometres east of Agia Roumeli and 6 kilometres west of Loutro. It is situated at the mouth of the wild Eligia Gorge. This beach is truly secluded from civilization, as the only means of reaching it is by boat or by embarking on a long hike through the E4 Path. 

Stretching across a length of 1.5 kilometres, the beach is adorned with pebbles and a dense layer of fine sand, creating a truly breath-taking beach environment. It is conveniently located between the nearby ports of Agia Roumeli and Loutro.

It takes approximately 50 to 60 minutes to hike from Agia Roumeli to Agios Pavlos, following an easy pathway along the coastline. 

There is a taverna-café available at the beach, offering a place to relax and enjoy some refreshments.
