Agios Antonios Cave

In the recess of the cave of Agios Antonios, you'll find the small chapel dedicated to the saint.
Next to the chapel once stood the altar of an open-air sanctuary where, in ancient times, the locals worshipped Cranaeus Hermes, the protector of shepherds, forests, and nature's fertility. This religious tradition continues today in honor of Agios Antonios, which is why you'll notice many offerings dedicated to the saint.
