In 2003, the local Museum of National Resistance was inaugurated in the area, showcasing a remarkable collection of weapons, objects belonging to fighters, newspaper clippings, and various exhibits related to the period of 1941-1945.
The village's central square features a monument dedicated to Eleftherios Venizelos.
In addition to its rich history, the village is renowned for its exceptional dairy products.
