When Passion Ignites Miracles

Founded in 2000, the Episkopi Ergani Women's Association embodies a commitment to preserving traditional arts, cultural heritage, and local customs.

With a current membership of 260, including 70 active participants, the association serves as a beacon of cultural enrichment and community engagement.

Driven by a mission to empower local women, the association facilitates training and support to nurture their talents and establish independent professional paths.

Beyond individual development, the association assumes the role of regional ambassador, promoting the area's richness and distinct identity.

Collaborating with regional and municipal authorities, including the Municipality of Episkopi which is currently the Municipality of Hersonissos, the association organises exhibitions and culinary events showcasing Cretan cuisine and culture.

Additionally, it arranges excursions across Greece, fostering dialogue and collaboration with other organisations.

Dedicated to upholding tradition, the association hosts celebrations rooted in local customs.

Moreover, it actively participates in cultural events nationwide and internationally, championing local heritage and the passion of its members in every endeavour.
