The Askeletour ensemble arrives with their instruments at Kontomari Square on Saturday, July 19, 2025, just after 8:30 PM, for a traditional feast of music and dance, stretching from Thrace to Crete.

Askeletour is a group dedicated to dance and celebration, playing music and songs from every corner and neighborhood of Greece. Starting from Crete, their sound travels across the Aegean islands, through the Peloponnese, all the way to Thrace and Asia Minor, inviting everyone to join in for a night of song, dancing, and festivity.

They were formed thanks to a wedding gig they never actually played. But that spark led to a musical journey that has already taken them to festivals, public events, traditional celebrations, and intimate music venues.

Four musicians, who met in Chania, Crete, after wandering through Greece and beyond, bring with them a wealth of experience and collaborations with remarkable artists and ensembles.
