The Society of Cretan Historical Studies presents the temporary exhibition "Christoforos Liontakis, With the Light", dedicated to the poet and translator Christoforos Liontakis.

The exhibition is hosted at the Historical Museum of Crete, where it will remain until September 2025.

The exhibition is based on the Archive of Christoforos Liontakis, which was donated to the Historical Museum of Crete in 2022 by his legal heir and niece Despina Liontaki, Antonis Kartsakis, and Dimitris Perodaskalakis. It showcases the poet’s life and work, from his childhood to his passing, with a focus on his poetry, prose, and translation work, through manuscripts, books, scores and photographic material. Additional exhibits, such as his desk, personal items and photographs, were contributed by the Vikelaia Municipal Library and Despina Liontaki.
