With a well-organized and elegant reenactment of the custom, with priestesses, satyrs, and a torch-lit procession through the village!
Once the silent water is sealed, a Cretan feast will follow.

In its official announcement, the Cultural Association of Kounavoi states:

"Saturday, June 21, we once again revive the tradition of Klidonas in Kounavoi. Come to our village early…
As soon as you see the sun start to set (around 20:30)…
We will decorate the village, stroll through the streets, fetch the silent water with priestesses and satyrs…
We’ll place our fortunes in the clay jar, burn our May wreaths, and then gather to feast and celebrate together!!!
Don't miss it, as this year’s procession and participation are expected to be even greater…
Don’t miss it!!!
See you there!!!"
