The Heraklion Ephorate of Antiquities informs the public that due to high temperatures in the Mesara area, the opening hours of archaeological sites will be modified on Friday 25/7/25, Saturday 26/7/25, and Sunday 27/7/25 as follows:

• Phaistos: from 12:00 to 17:00 (Site phone: +30 28920 42315)

• Gortyna: from 12:00 to 17:00 (Site phone: +30 28920 31144)

• Matala: from 12:00 to 17:00 (Site phone: +30 28920 45630)

• Agia Triada: from 12:00 to 15:30 (Site phone: +30 28920 91564)

To avoid inconvenience, visitors are kindly advised to contact the sites before planning their visit.
