On the first Sunday of the year (4 January 2026), we welcome the new year with the Mountaineering Club of Agios Nikolaos on an easy, open-to-all, festive hike along the Kalo Chorio – Prina trail, through a pine forest that feels straight out of a fairytale.

"Join us to exchange wishes for a creative new year in the heart of nature!" the club’s invitation reads.

Departure: From Agios Nikolaos (K. Karamanli 23, at the Vasilopoulos supermarket), Sunday at 08:30.
Travel by private car: Please contribute €5 to the driver.
If you're joining from elsewhere, the meeting point is at Pyrgos Kalo Chorio at 08:45.
