The countdown has begun for the Crete International Half Marathon, with the major sporting celebration set for Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Athletes from 49 countries and every corner of Greece will gather in Arkalochori for an event that blends athletic spirit with Cretan hospitality.

This year marks the 10th edition, making it a milestone event and the largest sports gathering in Crete, drawing in thousands of participants and visitors.

Organisers invite locals to line the main streets of Arkalochori on Sunday, between 08:00 and 13:00, to cheer on the runners and become part of this festive experience.

The race route will also pass through nearby villages, including:

• Choumeri (08:30–10:00)

• Galatas (08:30–10:00)

• Voni (08:30–11:00)

• Thrapsano (09:00–12:00)
