A burst of colour, imagination and carnival spirit fills the halls of the old “Eirinodikeio” courthouse in Agios Nikolaos, where the municipality is hosting a vibrant temporary exhibition during the festive season.

The Municipality of Agios Nikolaos invites residents to take part by contributing carnival costumes from previous years, hats from old contests, and any other carnival-related items—masks, crafts, accessories—that could be showcased.

Exhibition dates: 16 to 22 February 2026
All items loaned for the exhibition will be returned to their owners afterwards.

You can drop off your contributions until 6 February 2026 at the 3rd floor of the Old Town Hall, at the Department of Culture.

This initiative is organised by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos. With everyone’s help and participation, it promises to revive cherished memories from past carnivals—and spark ideas for the ones to come.
