Thalori Traditional Ecotourism Village

Thalori Traditional Ecotourism Village is located in Kapetaniana, where visitors can immerse themselves in the rugged splendor of the Asterousia region.

This unique destination offers an unforgettable stay in southern Crete and serves as a starting point for a variety of nature-inspired activities on both mountain and sea.

The village consists of 20 traditional houses, each with its own distinct personality. These homes have been lovingly restored with great respect for their original Cretan architecture, preserving their fortress-like and monastic features, which are deeply tied to the history of Kapetaniana.

Special care was taken to maintain the individuality of each house, now functioning as a guesthouse. Dominant elements include stone and wood, complemented by wooden lofts, stone arches, hand-built fireplaces, and intricately woven rugs and fabrics.

Thalori offers double, triple, quadruple, and even quintuple guesthouses, making it ideal for couples, groups of friends, and families alike.
