Kalo Chorio, Pediada: Offering a Unique Vista!
ABOUT
In this quaint village, the air is steeped in tradition, with the majority of residents dedicated to olive oil production. The focal point is the charming village square, where the village church takes centre stage.
Wandering through the alleys, one encounters remnants of a bygone era—whitewashed houses, remnants of a community with just over 300 inhabitants, a population that has endured since the census of 1834.
To the southeast of the settlement, atop Korfi Maza (456 m), a peak sanctuary dating from the First Middle Minoan Period to the Geometric Period has been unveiled.
Kalo Chorio is conveniently located near the Aposelemis Gorge, offering a delightful blend of history and natural beauty.
