Among Sharks and Shrimps: A Tour of Cretaquarium!
What lies beneath the surface of Crete’s sea? The largest aquarium in the Mediterranean, Cretaquarium, unveils an underwater world full of wonder, mystery, and science.
Dr. Ioannis Papadakis, the Director of the Aquarium, guides us through a journey across 62 tanks and more than 1,500 living creatures. From sharks and pufferfish to the otherworldly jellyfish and the shrimps that “clean” moray eels, each creature has its own story.
But the Aquarium is much more than a display. It’s a place of learning, scientific research, and an emotional sanctuary. An experience that connects both children and adults to the magic of marine life.
Hit play and dive deep into the underwater world of Crete.
